The Boxer is a very strong, active dog with a very happy, positive personality. He is proficient as a guard, hearing and police dog, but is most content with "his" family , especially, children. The Boxer is joyous, exuberant dog who delights in human affection and remains extremely playful even in old age.
Boxers are a highly desirable companion...as they are intelligent, loyal , alert and of fearless courage, yet responds well to discipline.
He/she requires little grooming, but is a definite responsibilty.. They do not tolerate extreme heat or cold and have a tendency to roam , so should always be fenced in or on leash when outside to play or relieve himself.
Boxers colors are various shades of fawn and various shades of brindle usually with black masks . White markings are acceptable ,as long as not to exceed 1/3 of coat color.
